Harriet Melton

Harriet Melton is a senior Human Resources (HR) professional with more than 20 years’ experience gained within financial services with large corporate organisations, and as an independent consultant for a wide range of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), working with them to implement organisational change and establish HR models.

As Head of Human Resources at MedAccess, Harriet leads HR across the organisation. She provides strategic and operational support, working closely with the senior management team, and oversees all core HR functions including recruitment, talent management, organisational development, reward, HR operations and policy.

Harriet is passionate about MedAccess’ mission and leverages her expertise to ensure the organisation operates in line with its core values, leading initiatives that foster a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment and instil a culture of feedback and learning.

Immediately prior to MedAccess, Harriet served as an independent HR consultant for People Risk Solutions, working in stand-alone HR roles and implementing advisory projects covering the full strategic and operational range of HR disciplines including resourcing, employee relations, reward management, talent management, employee engagement, team management and HR policy. Predominantly focused on SMEs, Harriet consulted for three years with Gridworks, an energy-focused development impact organisation and wholly-owned subsidiary of British Investment International (BII).

Earlier in her career, Harriet held a number of senior HR positions in global organisations across the financial services sector, including investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort.

Harriet holds a post graduate qualification in Human Resource Management and an Economic History degree from Exeter University.
