Senior Advisor
Hema Srinivasan is a Senior Advisor to MedAccess, supporting our work to identify and execute opportunities for financial tools to support lower prices and greater availability for medical products.
Hema supports the Health Markets team to source and develop pipeline opportunities for the deployment of MedAccess’ tools, manage monitoring and implementation of transactions post-execution, and analyse development impact throughout the partnership development and implementation process.
From 2020 until 2023, Hema led MedAccess’ Health Markets team in the role of Chief Access Officer. During her time as Chief Access Officer, the team executed seven agreements and developed a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities to tackle infectious diseases and non-communicable diseases.
Hema joined MedAccess from Gilead Sciences, where she was Senior Director for South Asia. She previously served as Associate Director of the Global Markets Team at the Clinton Health Access Initiative where she developed global market shaping strategies and led negotiations to increase access to life-saving medical products.
Earlier in her career, Hema worked in Equity Research covering the Biotechnology and Healthcare Services sectors at Goldman Sachs and at Morgan Stanley.
