Mayank Anand brings nearly a decade of experience working with strategy consulting and global health organisations in the UK, the Middle East and India.

Mayank is Head of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) within the Health Investments team at MedAccess. His team of experts identify, scope, and execute transactions with partners to deliver innovative health products in otherwise inaccessible markets.

Mayank’s work involves extensive due diligence and analysis, defining the transaction structure, evaluating risk and assessing the potential development impact for MedAccess investment opportunities. He leads negotiation and consensus-building required to bring stakeholders together across the global health ecosystem to steward agreements to execution.

Before MedAccess, Mayank served as a Manager with Bain & Company in London where he worked across a diverse range of sectors including private equity, financial services, healthcare, and education, on a wide range of complex strategic, investment and operational issues.

Before Bain, Mayank worked with the Clinton Health Access Initiative in India to strengthen health systems and shape markets across tuberculosis, malnutrition, and maternal health products. For one of his projects, he helped reformulate a complementary feeding supplement for children under three years old and supported the government to launch the product in the market. He also worked with the Boston Consulting Group in Dubai and PwC in India as a management consultant. Throughout his career, Mayank has led teams and engaged C-suite executives to advise, develop and implement business growth strategies.

Mayank holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Hansraj College, University of Delhi, India, and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
