Deepti Mishra
Health Markets Executive
Deepti Mishra has worked in international development, with a focus on global health, for over a decade. She has experience in strategy development, partnership building, health financing, socio-economic impact assessment of public health intervention and evaluation of programmes at country level.
At MedAccess, Deepti is a Health Markets Executive with a focus on vaccine markets. In her role, Deepti is responsible for identifying, scoping and executing transactions that increase access to health innovations in low- and middle-income countries.
Immediately prior to MedAccess, Deepti was a Senior Programme Manager at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, where she worked on immunisation financing and sustainability. In this role, she managed country level engagements with governments, alliance partners, non-governmental organisations and multilateral development banks to contribute to strategies for the financial sustainability of immunisation programmes, including fulfilment of co-financing obligations.
Deepti is interested in exploring interdisciplinary approaches to overcome the challenges of implementing innovations and research discoveries in primary health care settings. She is particularly interested in evaluation and evidence-based policy development.
Deepti is a clinician, and holds a Masters degree in Health Policy and Economics from London School of Economics.
