Business Coordination Executive
Sophie Denman has supported the Boards and C-Suites of businesses for over ten years, balancing a variety of roles and responsibilities to support the business needs of each Director, and gaining extensive experience across all aspects of office management.
At MedAccess, Sophie is Business Co-ordination Executive, responsible for all executive support to the CEO and the senior management team. Sophie provides seamless administrative and logistical support for Board and committee meetings, company events, global travel and presentations. She also coordinates business planning cycles and manages senior colleagues’ diaries.
The pace of Sophie’s professional growth has matched MedAccess’ as she developed the systems required to manage the operations of the organisation. She plays a key role in bringing new members of the team on board and championing a positive, values-led organisational culture.
Sophie developed her expertise and capabilities to balance the wide variety of responsibilities at MedAccess, through a career that has included a number of high-level executive support roles.
Before joining MedAccess, Sophie provided executive administrative support for the joint Managing Directors, Sales Director, and Finance Director at telecommunications company Focus Group and was the Facilities Manager and Events Manager, responsible for all aspects of the building and company meetings. Prior to Focus Group, Sophie held executive assistant roles in the travel, recruitment and telecommunications industries.
Sophie has a BSc Degree in Applied Social Science (Anthropology) from the University of Southampton and has undertaken a number of volunteering roles including Befriender, at a loneliness charity, and teaching assistant in Cambodia.
