Health Investment Associate

Mythili Sutharson (Thili) is an Associate within the Health Investments team, focusing on the scoping, development and execution of deals to accelerate market access of innovative medical products. Thili’s role includes carrying out the due diligence of investment opportunities and preparation of investment case materials, whilst also working with external stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation.

Prior to joining MedAccess, Thili was a Consultant at Bain & Company where she worked on several projects across a variety of capabilities covering private equity, strategy, transformation and operations in the healthcare, consumer and retail sectors.

Before joining Bain & Company, Thili undertook a research project during COVID-19 with the University of Cambridge, Centre of Global Equality, University of Nairobi and Bahir Dar University. Her work focused on testing and building a pilot oxygen concentrator rig, with the aim of developing a product that could be used to combat COVID-19 and respiratory infections in low-income markets.

Thili holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from University College London and a Master of Philosophy degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Her master’s research on materials informatics was published in the American Chemical Society journal.
