Hala Audi
Chief Development Officer
Hala Audi is Chief Development Officer at MedAccess. She brings more than 20 years of international experience at the intersection of global health, public policy and life sciences, spanning government, biotechnology and philanthropy.
Previously, Hala served as CEO of Unizima and Chief Alliance Officer at Univercells, where she developed partnerships to strengthen pharmaceutical manufacturing capacity across Africa. She also played a key role in the development and financing of Quantoom Biosciences, a Belgium-based RNA technology company with a global footprint.
Earlier in her career, Hala was CEO of a UK-based prize challenge for pandemic readiness and held several senior roles at HM Treasury. She oversaw the UK Government’s £400 billion Major Projects Portfolio and led the UK government and Wellcome Trust-commissioned Review on Antimicrobial Resistance. Hala is a member of the Scientific and Technical Expert Group for the 100 Day Mission International Pandemic Preparedness Secretariat.
Hala began her career as an international lawyer at Skadden Arps in New York, Paris and London. She holds degrees from the London School of Economics (MPA), Columbia Law School (LLM) and Université Panthéon-Assas. She speaks English, French and Arabic.
