Dan Mouat
Investment Manager
Dan brings a depth of financing and strategy experience built up from nearly a decade of experience at Macquarie and Bain & Company. He is experienced in screening potential investments, undertaking due diligence and structuring debt transactions. He has a passion for healthcare and reducing the inequalities that exist in global health.
As an investment manager, Dan works across MedAccess’s healthcare investments, including volume guarantees, procurement guarantees and debt transactions.
Dan was previously a Vice President in Macquarie’s Principal Finance Private Credit team, specialising in debt transactions of EUR 50 to 250m to European mid-market borrowers. His transaction experience includes senior, junior and structured equity investments.
At Macquarie, Dan made investments into the healthcare, education, professional services and software sectors.
Dan is interested in exploring how innovative financing structures can be used to shape markets and catalyse further investments.
Dan graduated with a dual degree Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the University of Queensland where he was valedictorian. His economics honours thesis explored inequality in access to hospitals.
