Health Markets Executive

Kaodili Udeh has worked in international development for eight years in a wide range of sectors and countries across Africa. He has specialist knowledge of health markets and systems and in the measurement of impact to improve access to healthcare.

At MedAccess, Kaodili is a Health Markets Executive, working closely with partners to identify opportunities where innovative finance tools can address barriers impacting access to new and existing health innovations, and stewarding these agreements to implementation. His role includes building the investment case for new opportunities where MedAccess’ financial tools can address existing market failures and monitoring existing agreements to ensure they achieve their projected impact.

Before joining MedAccess, Kaodili was a consultant at Dalberg, where he worked on projects in nutrition, education, clean tech/energy, and agriculture. He gained skills in planning, forecasting, costing and impact evaluation to assess and support the introduction of new technologies and solutions to tackle development challenges in rural and resource-poor settings across Ethiopia, Kenya and Nigeria. He developed a specific interest in access to finance during this role and took a short internship at a fin-tech start-up organisation providing family loans and financing for households across Nigeria prior to joining MedAccess.

Kaodili started his career in strategic consulting, working at Bain & Company in Lagos, Nigeria, across a variety of different sectors, including banking, Consumer Retail, FMCG, Travel, & the Public Sector. During his career he has gained an in-depth knowledge of business and international development needs in countries throughout Africa.

Kaodili holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from University of Nigeria and a Masters in Management from London Business School.
