Paul Foot
Interim Finance Director
Paul has extensive experience of building, restructuring and leading Finance functions across multiple sectors but primarily within Financial Services organisations including USS, Close Brothers Group plc, London Stock Exchange Group plc and Goldman Sachs.
In his previous role as Finance Director for the Investment Division at USS, he oversaw the finance function for the largest private pension fund in the UK. Paul has broad experience covering investment valuations, financial control, financial planning and analysis, system implementation, decision support, strategy planning, implementing IFRS reporting, regulatory reporting and statutory accounts.
Paul holds a CIMA certification and has been actively involved in various boards, committees, and steering groups, contributing to strategic decision-making and governance. He is also passionate about social mobility and founded and chaired the Social Mobility Committee at USS.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys spending time with his family, going to the gym, running and watching films.
