We use social finance to accelerate access to medical innovations and advance global health equity. Do you have the expertise and passion to help us achieve our mission?

Why MedAccess?

In a little over five years, MedAccess has made a lasting impact on the health of millions of people around the world.

We work with some of the biggest names in global health, using innovative finance to bridge the gaps between makers and buyers, getting medical innovations into the hands of people who need them.

Our high-performing team blends expertise in global health, the pharmaceutical industry, and investing to broker innovative finance agreements that accelerate access to healthcare.

Over the next five years we want to increase our impact with new partnerships to tackle more infectious diseases and our first agreements to tackle non-communicable diseases.

What is it like to work here?

Everyone at MedAccess has an impact on our mission, whatever their role.

Our work is fast paced, stimulating and often very challenging. Every day we take difficult decisions to solve problems that prevent access to health innovations.

We have high expectations of ourselves and each other. We work hard to achieve results and we celebrate our successes together.

We are fully invested in our people. We support each other in difficult times and help everyone to grow professionally.

We are committed to learning and improving, thinking differently and trying new approaches. We actively seek honest, direct feedback as it helps us to improve.

Trust and vulnerability are at the heart of our culture. We believe they are the foundations for the strong relationships we need to achieve our mission.

“I had heard of MedAccess and thought that a social-finance company that uses innovative models to improve access to medicines was right in my sweet spot! When I met the team, I was struck by the passion and ambition within a small organisation to achieve huge impact and I knew I wanted to be part of it."

Guy Pickles, Head of Vaccines

Our impact

Development impact motivates every decision we make. We estimate the potential impact of proposed guarantees to ensure they will benefit human health, save money, and strengthen markets.

By the end of 2023, our agreements had secured affordable access to medical innovations for 539 million people in over 110 countries.

Our ten guarantees are accelerating access to medical innovations against HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, syphilis and COVID-19 today while securing long-term positive change in healthcare markets.

Our impact

“MedAccess’ innovative, measurable approach to tackling healthcare challenges, combined with a passionate and mission driven team was too exciting to resist!”

Kaodili Udeh, Head of Regional Manufacturing

“The real driving force to join MedAccess, in addition to being mission-driven, were the inspiring yet humble leadership, a highly motivated and talented team, and the truly entrepreneurial culture that the organisation cultivates.”

Mayank Anand, Head of NCDs & MNCH
