MedAccess welcomes Cyrus Ardalan to its Board of Directors

Cyrus Ardalan joins the MedAccess Board.

MedAccess today announced the appointment of Cyrus Ardalan to its Board of Directors. Cyrus brings a wealth of experience from the fields of innovative finance and public health.

MedAccess is pleased to welcome Cyrus Ardalan to the Board of Directors where he will join other experts from the fields of finance and health to oversee the governance of the company.
Cyrus is currently a Trustee of the Charities Aid Foundation, Board Member of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), and Chairman of the Blend Network lending platform.

He has extensive experience in development finance, having previously served as Division Chief of Treasury Operations at the World Bank, and as Chair of the International Financing Facility for Immunization, which supports Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. He is the co-founder of the Humanitarian Finance Forum (HFF) dedicated to promoting innovative finance to meet humanitarian needs.

Prior to his retirement, Cyrus had a notable career in finance, holding multiple senior roles including as Vice Chairman of Barclays, Chairman of Citigroup Global Markets, Chairman of OakNorth Bank, and Chairman of the International Capital Markets Association.

Cyrus is a graduate of University College London and Balliol College at Oxford University.

Cyrus joined the MedAccess Board as a non-executive director on 1 May 2024.
